Throwback Thursday: Essie Glass Slipper

Hello Everyone,

Sorry for the lack of posts, but my life is really hectic and heavy right now.  I'm going through a lot, and I'm just trying to find my footing with my schooling, etc at the moment- plus I'm really sad because my babycakes is visiting with her grandparents for a bit to help me have more time to study.  I know it's for the best but it is wearing on me- we've never spent a whole day apart since she was born, and now, I'm facing the reality that I can't be an med/mph student, basically a single mom with my husband deployed, and expect to be able to do it all.  I need help, even though it's hard to admit at times.  Well, that's enough with the heavy- here is my throwback.  This is Essie's Glass Slipper, a white frost shimmer with silver glitter throughout.  I found this a few years back in a little mini pack in Marshall's, I have a few from that collection I may showcase for Throwback Thursdays another time.  Application was a streaky mess.  I had to redo a few nails, and this is four coats shown, no topcoat.  I like it more in the pictures, it dried uber slow.  I guess this could be a pretty dainty or work appropriate color- to each his own, but with the application, I don't see me running to use it again anytime soon, lol.  Enjoy!

This Essie is all new to me. I think it's gorgeous! Awe I missed out on it. Maybe next time layer it over another white hopefully it will be easier that way.

  3. Once school is over, it will all be worth it!

I love this Essie! I need it in my stash. I have Bonded which I think is from the same collection. It's red with silver glitter in it.
