Azature Black Diamond Nail Polish Swatches and Review

Hello Everyone,

So today is my birthday, and I felt that it was appropriate to do something amazing for my nails for the one day of the year that I can justifiably claim rule over.  A few months ago, when the press release for a black diamond nail polish came out, I was floored.  Not only do I love black diamonds (my wedding band can attest), I was intrigued as to how they could translate one into a nail polish.  I vented to my best friend Alex about how black diamonds were great but putting one into a bottle and charging 250,000 for it was not only a waste but ridiculous.  Well, being the amazing best friend he is, my birthday surprise was none other than a slightly cheaper version of the famed most expensive nail polish on the market at the moment, with the card insert, " Enjoy your diamond nails, but don't let them distract you from studying!"  I love you Alex, if you read this :)  So, without further ado, here is Azature Black Diamond Nail Polish.

Ok, so above, the bottle shots.  Below see the polish on the brush.  In the bottle it looks black, but it is actually a sheer gray base with black and silver glitter particles.  In an effort to conserve my bottle, I layered a coat of Azature over two coats of Sally Hansen's discontinued Lustrous, a great black creme, shiny with no topcoat.

So there it is, the luxurious Azature Black Diamond for my birthday post.  I hope everyone has a good day on my birthday- in fact, I order you guys to make the most of September 24, wherever you are, tee hee.

  1. Oh wow I heard about this $250,000 polish. I didn't know they had a cheaper version and it contains 1 black diamond. It looks like SH Black Diamond. In real life does it sparkle more then a basic shimmery black polish?
